On the 27th of September,2021 the re-elected district chief Executive for Okere, Hon Daniel Kenneth, was confirmed and inaugurated for his 2nd term in office. The occasion was graced by a colorful traditional council for Okere, the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development who also is the MP for Okere, Hon Daniel Kwaku Botwe, the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon Seth Acheampong, the Presiding Member for Okere, Nana Kantinka Addi and many other District Chief Executives and distinguished guests. The program began with an election of the appointed District Chief Executive by the honorable Assembly Members of Okere where he had a 100% vote count leading to his confirmation and inauguration
