ASSEMBLY PRIORITIZES EDUCATION INFRASTRUCTURE WITH REPAIR OF DAMAGED SCHOOL ROOF AFTER A RAIN STORM AT KYEKYEKU

The Okere District Assembly has demonstrated its commitment to improving education infrastructure by undertaking repair works on a school block at Kyekyeku that was severely damaged by a recent rainstorm. The storm caused significant destruction to the roofing of the classroom structure, disrupting teaching and learning activities and posing safety risks to pupils and staff.

In response, the Assembly mobilized resources and initiated rehabilitation works to restore the school block to a safe and conducive learning environment. The intervention is part of the Assembly’s broader efforts to ensure that educational facilities across the district are well-maintained and able to support quality teaching and learning.
