A Revenue Improvement Action Plan (RIAP) was created and approved by the Okere District Assembly with the goal of boosting financial sustainability and revenue mobilization. Expanding the local tax base, upgrading rate registers, improving data collecting systems, enforcing compliance, and bolstering stakeholder engagement are just a few of the strategic actions outlined in the plan to increase income production.
Improved oversight of tax collectors, ongoing ratepayer education, digitalization of revenue procedures, and cooperation with traditional authorities and community leaders are some of the RIAP’s primary actions. It is anticipated that these actions will increase internally generated funds (IGF) to support the district’s top development priorities.
To guarantee the plan’s successful execution and the district’s general expansion, the Assembly promotes collaboration among citizens, companies, and organizations.
