ABIRIW 24-HOUR ECONOMY MARKET PROJECT OFFICIALLY HANDED OVER TO CONTRACTOR FOR COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION

The construction of the much-anticipated 24-Hour Economy Market at Abiriw has officially begun, with the Assembly handing over the project site to the contractor.

The initiative is part of an effort to improve local trade infrastructure, boost economic activity, and create a modern market environment that will benefit businesses and livelihoods in the district. The new market is anticipated to improve trading conditions, boost local business, and make a substantial contribution to the government’s objective of encouraging a thriving 24/7 economy.

During the handover ceremony, Assembly officials, traditional authorities, community residents, and other stakeholders pledged to ensure the project’s success.

The contractor informed the Assembly and the inhabitants of Abiriw that the project would be completed on schedule and with quality craftsmanship.
