In order to evaluate the quality and progress of the numerous ongoing development projects being carried out throughout the District, the Assembly has started a monitoring exercise.
Numerous important initiatives targeted at enhancing community infrastructure, healthcare, education, and water supply were included in the monitoring exercise. The building of CHPS Compounds and Nurses’ Quarters at Mintakrom, Dawu-Sanfo, and Lakpa were among the projects examined.
Additionally, the crew kept an eye on mechanization and borehole drilling projects in Mintakrom, Lakpa, Nana Benin, Sikorkor, Twumguaso, Dawu-Sanfo, Nsutam, Deveme, Otareso, and Asifaw. It is anticipated that these initiatives would increase inhabitants’ access to drinkable water and improve their quality of life in the places that will benefit from them.
The development of a 3-unit KG classroom block at Asaman and a 6-unit classroom block at Deveme, which are meant to give students better and more comfortable learning conditions, was monitored in the education sector.
The Asenema Epicenter and the offices of the Apirede, Aseneman, and Asaman Area Council were also renovated as part of the exercise.
The monitoring team evaluated the materials being used, construction quality, job progress, and adherence to the necessary project parameters. Contractors and other stakeholders were urged to uphold the necessary standards and guaranty the projects’ prompt completion.
The Assembly is still dedicated to routinely overseeing and evaluating development initiatives in order to advance sustainable development, accountability, value for money, and high-quality service delivery across the district.
To guaranty that ongoing projects are finished to the necessary standards and delivered for the benefit of inhabitants, the Assembly will keep working with contractors, communities, and other stakeholders.
