In its first year, the Okere Teachers Prize Awards were established to recognize the commitment, zeal, and diligence of our teachers. Teachers, students, staff, parents, and special guests came together for the celebration, which took place at E. G. Kumi Memorial Hall on July 19, 2024, to honor the vital role educators play in influencing the course of our civilization. Among the distinguished visitors are Hon. Daniel Botwe, the Hon. Member of Parliament and Minister for Local Government and Decentralization; Akuapem Nifa Hene; Nana Osuadumgya Otutu Ababio V; Hon. Daniel Kenneth, the Hon. Chief Executive of Okere District; and numerous others.
The ceremony’s goal was to honor and commend instructors for their exceptional work and commitment, to inspire employees to reach greater levels of creativity and professionalism, to encourage a culture of excellence among educators.
