The Okere District Assembly has successfully carried out a series of sod-cutting ceremonies to commence new development projects across various communities within the district. These initiatives form part of the Assembly’s commitment to improving social infrastructure, enhancing service delivery, and promoting inclusive development.
Led by the District Chief Executive, together with traditional leaders, Assembly Members, and community stakeholders, the ceremonies took place at selected locations earmarked for the projects. The new developments include Construction of CHIP Compound and Nurses Quarters, Construction of Six-Unit Classroom Block at Deveme, Construction of Two-Unit K-G Block at Otareso Mankrado and Construction of CHIP Compound and Nurses Quarters at Mintakrom each designed to address critical needs and support the socio-economic growth of the beneficiary communities.
During the ceremonies, the DCE emphasized government’s dedication to equitable development and urged community members to support the projects for timely completion. Residents expressed appreciation for the intervention and pledged their cooperation throughout the construction period.
The Assembly reaffirms its commitment to delivering quality infrastructure and ensuring that all communities benefit from ongoing development efforts.
