NATIONAL SANITATION DULY OBSERVED AT DAWU

The Okere District’s National Sanitation Day activity continues to garner significant support under the leadership of District Chief Executive Eric Williams Ayettey. The campaign aims to promote environmental cleanliness and urge residents to take an active role in keeping their neighborhoods clean.

During the exercise, locals, assembly members, and District Assembly personnel worked together to sweep streets, empty gutters, and remove trash from public areas. Hon. Ayettey underlined the necessity of keeping the environment clean to promote good health, prevent sanitation-related ailments, and improve the appearance of the district’s villages.

The activity continues to develop the district’s culture of cleanliness and collective responsibility as a result of the DCE’s active leadership and community engagement.
