Okere District held Ghana’s 66th Independence day at Amanfrom School park and it was indeed a colourful day. The occasion was graced by the Honourable Member of Parliament Daniel Kwaku Botwe. The District Chief Executive,District Coordinating Director,District Education Director,all Traditional rulers of Okere land and many other dignitaries were present for the occasion and the theme for this year’s celebration was about Unity.The DCE with the help of the District Education Director and some very important person gave scholarship to best performing BECE and WASSCE students for the past year.
