For important players in the local governance system, the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs has arranged a zonal sensitization workshop on the updated District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT) X and XI Operational Manuals.
The goal of the session was to increase participants’ comprehension of the revised DPAT X and XI assessment methodology, guidelines, and performance indicators. To increase their ability to successfully apply the updated operational manuals, it brought together all DDDP focal persons from Eastern, Volta, and Oti MMDAs and other pertinent officers.
The Ministry’s facilitators emphasized the manuals’ major changes, focusing on enhanced district-level service delivery, accountability, performance measurement, and openness.

Additionally, the sensitization exercise gave participants a forum to explore ways to improve performance results within their particular assemblies, exchange experiences, and ask questions.
